- Race (Male): One mile in Six minutes
- Race (Female): 500 meters in Two minutes & Thirty Seconds
- For Ex-Serviceman above 35 years of age, the Physical Efficiency Test will consist of one mile of jogging in 10 minutes.

The Chandigarh Police is presently headed by a Director General of Police who is ably assisted by an Inspector General of Police and Deputy Inspector General of Police. The Senior Superintendent of Police (Chandigarh) looks after crime and law & Order aspects of policing whereas Traffic & Security is looked after by the Senior Superintendent of Police (Traffic & Security).
