AAI Cargo Logistics and Allied Services Company Ltd. (AAICLAS) was incorporated on August 11, 2016 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Airport Authority of India. Aware of the booming economy, the importance of air cargo and its impact on the overall economy of India, AAICLAS was spun off by the Airports Authority of India as a separate company to meet the challenges ahead.
AAICLAS is a professional and responsive service company aiming to become an international leader in integrated logistics, acting as a multimodal interface between air, land and land transport. Sea freight with a focus on air freight handling & Allied Services and acts as a one-stop shop for all of its customers. We are becoming the largest network and fastest growing logistics solutions provider in India. Currently, AAICLAS operates 20 international air cargo terminals and 31 domestic terminals in India and 1 courier company.
AAICLAS has built advanced terminals and integrated them with state-of-the-art facilities such as the Automated Storage and Retrieval System “ASRS”, Elevated Transport Vehicle (ETV) and other mechanized equipment to meet operational needs and ensure customer satisfaction. AAICLAS is capable of transporting special loads and has successfully handled: live animals, heavy machinery, unusually sized loads, precious stones and jewels, bullion, dangerous goods, pharmaceuticals, perishable goods, etc. In line with the government policy.
In India, AAICLAS has a strong focus on the Northeast region, where the company is developing a state-of-the-art infrastructure for perishables, such as the establishment of the Perishable Cargo Center and Cold Chain.Export of perishable goods started from Guwahati terminal. AAICLAS recently introduced comprehensive checked baggage operations at 11 airports. AAICLAS has also obtained Registered Agent (RA) status from BCAS and acts as a registered agent in Chennai, Kolkata, Surat, Bhopal, Jaipur, Indore and Tirupati.
