Bastar is a district of the state of Chhattisgarh. The headquarters of Bastar District and Bastar Division is Jagdalpur. He was known as Dakshin Kaushal. About 240 km long, the Indravati River begins in Orissa and flows through Dantewada and Bijapur before joining Godavari near Bhadrakala. Artifacts related to the history and entertainment of the Bastar tribe are on display at the Dharampur Museum of Anthropology.
