About KSWMP Recruitment 2023 – 95 Environmental Engineer, SWM Engineer & Other Apply Online Best Indian Government Jobs

The development goal of the Kerala Solid Waste Management Project is to strengthen institutional systems and service systems for solid waste management in Kerala. The project consists of three elements. The first element is institution building, capacity building and project management.

It includes the following sub-components: (i) technical assistance (TA) for government agencies; (ii) TA of urban regional authorities (ULB); (iii) capacity building, training and awareness raising on Solid Waste Management (SWM) and Information and Educational Communication (IEC); and (iv) project management support.

The second component, ULB Grant Support for SWM, will provide grants to participating ULBs to improve their SWM systems and skills.The third component, the development of regional GDS facilities, will fund the construction, reconstruction, closure, rehabilitation and outfitting (if applicable) of facilities serving more than one ULB. KSWMP funds are transferred to municipal local units in addition to the budgetary funds transferred from the national government as plan funds.
