As part of this, NLCIL operates free buttermilk distribution stands for residents of Neyveli and surrounding areas as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program to help them weather the intense summer heat.
NLC India Limited will be distributing Buttermilk at prominent locations such as Arch Gate, Central Bus Stand, Pudhukuppam Bus Stand, Block-29 Bus Stand and Mandarakuppam Bus Stand for 30 days from 22.05.2023.It is expected that 3.60 thousand people will benefit from this scheme. In addition to buttermilk, NLCIL will also deliver purified drinking water to the stands.
Today (22.05.23) The Free Buttermilk Distribution Stand at Arch Gate was officially opened by Shri Samir Swarup, Director (HR), NLCIL. After the inauguration, he publicly distributed Maślanka.
Likewise, other distribution centers in other locations such as Central Bus Station, Pudhukuppam Bus Station, Block 29 Bus Station and Mandarakuppam Bus Station were inaugurated by Shri M. Thangaraj, GM (NSU), Shri Bikram Keshari Das, GM (Finance), Shri ISTJasper Rose, ED/PME, Promoter & Land/Mines and Shri G. Srinivas and CGM/Civil/Mines respectively. people from all walks of life in and around Neyveli welcomed this good initiative of the NLCIL leadership in this hot summer.
