The Services Selection Board (SSB) is an organization that evaluates candidates for officer positions in the Indian Army. The board evaluates an applicant’s suitability as an officer using a standardized evaluation system consisting of personality tests, intelligence tests, and interviews. The tests are both written and based on practical tasks. The SSB consists of assistants who are officers of the Indian armed forces and are specialized psychologists, GTOs (Group Task Officers) and interviewing officers.

Sometimes the psychologist may not be directly from the armed forces. There are a total of thirteen Service Selection Boards in India, four for the Indian Army, four for the Indian Air Force and five for the Indian Navy. (SSB) is a 5-day evaluation process. Introduction There are several different paths to becoming an officer in the Indian Armed Forces.

This applies to both civilians (after 10 2, graduation and graduation) and serving armed forces. All except Army Medical Corps members must undergo “SSB Interview”. The election will take place within five days. Day 1 – screening test, Day 2 – psychological assessment, Day 3 and – group tests and Day 5 – compilation of results at the conference. The selection period also includes a personal interview.

During the selection period, they look for intelligence, responsibility, initiative, decision-making under pressure, reasoning and organizational skills, communication skills, determination, courage, self-confidence, decision-making speed, example, compassion and loyalty to the nation. Applicants are processed during the selection period and evaluated in a group with other applicants. The group’s findings continue.
