The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization of the Government of India which recruits personnel for various positions in various departments and departments of the Government of India and its sub-offices. This commission is an affiliated entity of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) and consists of a chairperson, two members and a secretary/auditor.
His position is equivalent to the level of Additional Secretary to the Government of India. SSC decided to organize examinations for general (non-technical) personnel in 13 Indian languages namely Urdu, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Konkani, Meitei (Manipuri), Marathi, Odia and Punjabi In addition to Hindi and English, it will be one of the 22 official languages of the Republic of India for the first time in January 2023.
