The Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB) was established on 02/01/2018 by the Government of Tamil Nadu in GO(Ms) No.1, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (C2).2012 to cover the different categories of staff in the Department of Health and Family through direct recruitment in the shortest possible time, taking into account the nature, importance and necessity of these positions.
On February 6, 2012, the Commission for the Recruitment of Medical Services began its work. There are more than 200 professional categories in the various directorates of the Department of Health and Family.All direct rental positions (excluding chauffeur positions, positions within TNPSC and all positions within core services) are under the jurisdiction of MRB.
